By using HubStaq ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them. If you don't agree, don't use the service. These terms are written in plain language — if anything is unclear, ask us.
1. Using HubStaq
HubStaq is a subscription tracking tool for businesses and teams. You may use the service to track software subscriptions, assign owners, and manage renewal dates for your organisation.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Don't share your password. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the service
- Use the service to store or transmit malicious code
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without written permission
- Attempt to circumvent the service's rate limits or security measures
3. Your data
You own the data you enter into HubStaq. The subscription names, costs, owners, and other information you add belong to you. We don't claim any rights to it.
By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your data in order to provide the service to you. We will not use your data for any other purpose. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. HubStaq is a manual tracking tool — we don't verify the subscription information you add.
4. Free and paid plans
Free plan: Available at no charge, subject to usage limits (currently 25 subscriptions). We reserve the right to change free plan limits with reasonable notice.
Pro plan: Billed monthly at the price stated at the time of subscription. Early access users who lock in a price will retain that price for as long as their subscription remains active without interruption. If you cancel and later resubscribe, current pricing applies.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We don't store payment details. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 14 days of a charge if you believe it was made in error.
5. Service availability
We aim to keep HubStaq available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uptime. We're an early-stage product and things may occasionally break. We'll communicate significant outages and fix them as quickly as possible.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice. If we discontinue the service, paid users will receive a pro-rated refund for unused time.
6. Limitation of liability
HubStaq is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including any decisions made based on data tracked in HubStaq.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@hubstaq.com. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We'll give notice where possible unless the violation is severe.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which HubStaq is registered. Any disputes will be resolved in that jurisdiction's courts.
